Outlook Express 6 to Outlook 2003

I have installed (per the cd instructions) the new version of Outlook from Office Professional 2003. However my previous version of Outlook is still receiving all of my incoming mail. I've tried to find the informaiton on the Microsoft website, but not being very computer savy I am stuck and afraid to mess something up. Please can you help me?
 
You have to set up yr email accounts in OL.
File/Import........mail settings/mail from OE Then in Internet Options
ensure OL is selected for mail
Whichever mail app, OE or OL is started will receive mail, so when you are
satisfied OL is functioning correctly iether delete the accounts in OE or
set it not to check for mail.
