Outlook Expr. 6 No Send/No Read

Hi,

I am using Outlook Express 6.
I can receive incoming mails. If they are merely TXT messages I can not open
them at all (error message pops up - can not open message). If they are HTML
mails a new window opens displaying the typical internetsite can not be
found message.
Furthermore starting a new message to be send calls forth another error.
Messages within the income box are gone after closing Outlook Express...

Any ideas ? Could this possibly be a result of Windows Updates ?

This newsgroup is for support of Outlook
97/98/2000/2002/2003 from the Office suite of products. Outlook
Express is actually a separate program despite the similar name.
