I have searched and searched, endlessly, about "OUTLOOK.EXE has
generated errors and will be closed by windows." The solutions do not
work. In my particular instances, Outlook crashes during a send
receive, while using POP3. Outlook Express handles it fine. This
happens with both Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002. It seems that
Outlook is unable to work with various emails... If I connect to the
POP3 server via telnet and delete the email it hangs up on, it does
not fix it. If I go and delete it and the preceding and following
messages, it works.

What can I do,

Unfortunately, I have tried that, and it does not help. I have
searched everywhere, newgroups, MS KB, TechNet, the Web, and I cannot
find anything to help. Yesterday, I setup the user's e-mail as IMAP,
and it would sync up everything... but the messages that caused the
problem would crash Outlook when she tried to view them. I think
there is something about the formatting of the email message that
Outlook just doesn't like. The funny thing is, the messages are sent
from other users of Outlook. We are not using Exchange, as we are
trying POP3 and IMAP for retrieval, but we are now using a different
server than we were using before, so I do not think it is the server,
especially as the server is very e-mail standards compliant. At
first, our email was outsourced, and it was on a NT Mail setup. Now
we run it in-house and it is running on qmail (The best there is,
period). We were having another user with this problem, and I
completely reinstalled his OS and Office, and now he is fine. This
new user just had her system reinstalled. The problem is definately
Outlook. Are there any message headers or various peices of
formatting that Outlook just doesn't like? We are using no Add-ins,
and we have a standard Internet Mail setup.

Thanks,
