I keep my personal calendar, contacts and tasks in
outlook for personal use and sync-ing with my ppc. My co
just starting using outlook with exchange.

I would like to keep my personal data private, and be
able to leverage most of the linking outlook features,
and not have to maintain two outlook data files. I am
keeping my files separate now until I know how this works
(the help files are not too specific on this subject).

Is it possible to maintain my personal and my co
information in one outlook file and keep my personal
information private in contacts, calendar and tasks? If
so, how?

Yes you can. The Exchange data is stored on the server and you can connect
to your personal data by File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...

Please post back if you get stuck somewhere

(I changed my reply address; remove all CAPS and _underscores_ from the
address when mailing)

If I understand you correctly, I can sync my
personal/private data along with the corp data to the
exchange server (this appears to be done automatically
when I connect to the corp VPN). This data is private
and unaccessable on the corp server and is
secure/confidential, right?

Let me know where I am wrong and how to accomplish the
above. Thanks.
