I recently installed Service Pack 3 on my notebook running Office XP. I
also have a Dell Axim 5 pda connected that synchronises with Outlook.
I have noticed that, since the installation of Service Pack 3 on the machine
(might only just be a coincidence), whenever the pda connects to synchronise
I get the following message:
"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook.
Do you want to allow this?
If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should choose 'No'."
It then gives me an option of allowing access for a specified time (drop
down box).
While the first few times of this hasn't really been a problem but I don't
really like the idea of having to do this every instance of syncing with my
machine.
Any ideas/comments appreciated.
