Outlook Error "This application must be installed to run"

I uninstalled a printer and afterwards could not open Outlook. I received a
message that says "This application must be installed to run. Please run
setup from the location where you originally installed the application." I
can't open Word either. Does anyone know of a fix for this?
 
Did you remove the Microsoft Office Document Image Writer (this would be
listed in the printer folder)? More or less the error message wants you to
go thru add/remove programs in the control panel and reinstall office (I
would try a repair first).
