I downloaded Office Service Pack 3 last night. Upon
completion of download and reboot, I got on line to check
emails. Immediately a window appeared:
"A program is trying to access your address book in
Outlook. If this is unexpected click NO as it may be a
virus."
I clicked NO and then I got this menu:
"Outlook as experienced an error and must restart."
The program closes and automatically reopens only to start
up with:
"A program is trying to access your address book in
Outlook. If this is unexpected click NO as it may be a
virus."
I clicked NO and then I got this menu:
"Outlook as experienced an error and must restart."
And I'm in an endless loop. I'm not sure it this has
anything to do with the download, but I've never had this
problem before.
Should I allow access to address book? Will this fix the
problem? I ran a scan on c: (Norton) and my computer is
clean.
Any thoughts? I have contactec Microsoft via email, but I
don't know when I'll hear back. Looking for help...Thanks
