Here is the problem. I have just finished migrating a
users account from NT 4 to 2000. In addition, their
mailbox was just moved from a 5.5 box to an Exchange 2k
box. They have logged on to the new domain for the first
time, and when they launch Outlook 97, they receive this
message:
"The program is not registered properly. Please run
setup again. Can't find this file. Make sure the path
and the file name are correct."
This never happened before the migration. I remember
that there is a command to unregister and then reregister
Office apps. I don't remember the parameters, though.
It's something like -unregserv or /unregserv. Would this
fix the problem? They are at an offsite location, and
they do not have access to their original install disks,
so a complete reinstallation isnt possible.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
