outlook (e-mail accounts)

when trying to open e-mail accounts from the tools bar i get a message
saying.problem with the registry or instalation. have tried to re-install and
still does not work.

I have had the same issue yesterday.
You probably logged with a certain username and started outlook. A wizzard
would have started to set up a new email account. If you quit this wizzard
half wat through, you will get the problem you describe and which I had too.
What I did to resolve it is boot the machine in safe mode. Then go to
C:\Documents and Settings.
You will see a list of users that have logged onto you machine. Identify the
user name with which you have the problem. Rename the user name to for
example username.old. Reboot, log in with your normal user name and start
outlook. Complete the wizzard completely. That should do it.
