Outlook doesn't start after making a new identity

Outlook worked just fine, until this evening
I tried to define a new identity and then I closed down the program
If I try to start Outlook it doesn't respond at all. Not even a message that it can't find something or whatever, but it just doesn't start
What went wrong ? And...:how can I solve the problem ?
 
Are you talking about Outlook or Outlook Express?

In the case of the last note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
