Setup:
WinXP Outlook 2007, system newly installed, outlook.pst imported
from previous installation
Problem:
On startup Outlook always asks: "Outlook, Windows Internet Explorer,
and other
applications save lists of RSS Feeds that you subscribe to.
The Common Feed List in Microsoft Windows maintains one synchronized
list of
RSS Feeds. Do you want your RSS Feeds in Outlook to be synchronized
with the
Common Feed List?" Doesn't matter if I answer yes/no/remind later, the
same
message comes again on the next start.
I found the registry setting
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\xx.0\Outlook\Options
\General
PONT_STRING = 48,60,
which is supposed to prevent this dialogue being shown I believe.
Some other settings also don't seem to be saved, e.g. concerning
when email is marked as read etc.
Also when I exit Outlook with "File, Exit" the program doesn't exit
at all, it just hides the GUI and carries on running. But maybe that's
normal.
Many thanks,
David
