For some reason, my Outlook 2000, installed as internet
only and part of Office 2000 Pro, won't let me delete or
move any items including emails, appointments, tasks,
etc.
It gives me the error: "The messaging interface has
returned an unknown error. If the problem persists,
restart Outlook." I've restarted Outlook, and the whole
PC. I've installed all of the updates and service packs
from the Office update website and I've searched the MS
Knowledge base, which mostly tells you to install the
updates.
I only noticed this behavior after installing and
hotsyncing with my m500 palm pilot which I use at work.
It seems that after that installation, all the items in
Outlook have been frozen in their folders. I can view
them, but cannot move them.
Does anyone have any idea?
