Outlook does not display 1st embedded picture.

WinXP SP2 w/Firewall, Outlook 2003.

A tech support staff can not see the first embedded picture. This person is
a tech, and has reinstalled Office and is running with Office 2003 SP3. When
someone sends a screen caputre to demonstrate the problem, the tech can not
see the 1st pircture attached. Any pictures past the first one display
correctly.

Found the answer

Hi,

I had the same problem (as I saw on this board) so I did a search on google for the following: (i decided to join this board to help others with this issue)

"why does outlook not display the first image"

Came up with the following:

It works. Here is what I did. (if you don't want to look at their site):

find the directory used for your temporary internet files by looking at the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security, look at the value for OutlookSecureTempFolder.

This value is the location of your Outlook Secure folder

Open up this folder (won't see it in explorer but you can type the name in)

Delete all the files:

Viola. it works again.
