I'm trying to resolve an issue a user is having with calendar. The user is
running outlook 2000 with Exchanger Server 5.5 in Corporate/Workgroup mode.
The user is seeing someone else's calendar & contacts in her calendar &
contacts folder. She was never set up as a delegate for the other user's
mailbox. I also checked the permissions on the other user's mailbox on the
server and her account is not listed in the Permissions tab.

Initial step taken to resolve issue; created new profile for user. The new
profile did not correct the problem. Has anyone seen this issue before? If
so what steps were taken to correct the problem? Any thoughts or suggestions
would be appreciated. Thanks .

Are you absolutely sure they belong to the other user? Delegates don't see
the calendar and contacts in their own calendar and contacts - they see them
in a separate folder.

Yes, I logged into the other user's mailbox and viewed the calendar &
contacts. She is seeing this other user's calendar & contacts in her calendar
& contacts.

make some changes in one and see if they show up in the other.

How are you opening the calendars and contacts? Use Ctrl+6 and open them
from the folder list.

Was the computer ever used by the other user and maybe she exported all whole
exchange folder into a pst file... and is the new user maybe looking at a
personal folder pointing at the pst file on the hard drive of the machine and
not her own exhange folder?

I updated the calendar and it posted to both their calendars. I opened
Calendar & Contacts using Ctrl+6 as you suggested but the problem is still
occurring. I did notice there was an unknown account listed on the
permissions tab on both their mailboxes. I removed the unknown account and am
now waiting for replication to see if this was a possible cause.

No, that was the first thing I asked. It's weird because everything else is
fine. The only folders she's experiencing problems with is the calendar and
contacts. Thanks for your help.
