Outlook Desktop Alerts

Hello all, I have a user who has this issue. Upon reciept of an e-mail,
he/she recieves the Desktop Alert, then gets a second alert for the same
e-mail. Has anyone come across this before and was able to fix this issue?

Are you using Exchange in cached mode? I've noticed it happen some times
but its not enough of an annoyance to care why it happens. I know if you
hover over the alert as it fades it may come back.
