outlook default save as path

How can I change the default path for the 'save as' functionality? When Outlook starts up it defaults to some standard path such as c:\docs and settings\p12345nnn\my documents. The first time I want to do a save as on some document I have to navigate to the folder that I prefer to use to store my save as documents. How can I change the default path?
