I have the data file on a drive that is shared. On one computer I can open
outlook and read the data file on the shared drive and see my old emails and
stuff. I can do this again on a different computer pointing to the same data
file and can see everything fine. However, when I check my email on one
computer and receive new emails and then decide to go to the other computer
it pulls the email again: I have duplicate emails. Is there a way to not
download emails twice just because I am on a different computer?

Hi James,
have you checked the "leave a copy on the server" option?

I have that option checked. I want to leave a copy on the server as well so
I can check email through the internet if I am away from my computers.

I have the option checked. I want to leave a copy on the server so I can
check email through the internet. Any other suggestions?

Hi James,

thats the point, you leave a copy on the server.
If you disable this option, you will not receive the "old" emails!
