Outlook create a rule

Create a rule that moves an email after it is open and closed in the In Box.
Instead of having a rule that automatically requires email to be sent right
to specified folder on download requiring that folder to be read separately.
Offer the option for the email to be download into the In Box, when closed it
will move it self to the folder. Additionally other options to consider is
allowing other options to be chosen that over ride the rule if chosen.
General email from an email address sometimes contains subject matter that
the email should be in another category or folder.

You can do many of the things already by using Search Folders. When you move
the mail directly when received it will still show in the Unread Mail Search
Folder. I usually only use my "Today's Unread Mail" Search Folder.
