Outlook Crashing Since Installing Norton AV

I am running Outlook 2002 SP3 on Windows XP Home Edition SP2. Since
installing Norton AV Outlook has been closing down after displaying a dialog
box warning me that there is a program trying to access my email addresses.
Whether I say yes or no to the dialog Outlook will hang up momentarily then
close.

Any idea how to resolve this?

Disable Norton AV email integration and see if it helps.

Looks like the issue is related to an Outlook advanced security patch I
installed. Any idea how to uninstall this?

Why woudl you say that?
Have you disabled Norton integration as recommended?

yep I disabled the NAV integration but it didn't resolve the problem. With
regard to the advanced security patch being the culprit, I tracked this down
through an article in the Norton knowledge base which pointed me to an
article in the MS knowledge base. When I have more time I will look up the
article numbers.

Well I uninstalled NAV and the problem seems to have gone away
