Outlook crashes in Calendar

Whenever I click on the Calendar folder, OL immediately
crashes. I suspect a corrupt recurring appointment. I
seem to remember there is a way to identify the offending
appointment and delete it. Can someone refresh my memory
on how to do that?

Thanks.

It's hard to delete an appointment when Outlook immidiately crashes on the
Calendar...

Can you start Outlook in safe mode?
What is logged to the Event Viewer?
What version OS and Outlook are you running?

There was a technique I used (based on a recommendation from an MVP) that involved doing an advanced find on the calendar folder to identify recurring appointments (using advanced filter) and then attempting to move the recurring appointments to a new folder until one caused a problem. Thus identifying the troublesome appointment. But when I try that now, OL immediately crashes when I move any appointment. I'm hoping I'm doing something wrong.

Safe mode doesn't help. Running Outlook 2002 and Win XP Pro.

I am having the same problem with Win98 and Outlook 2000. The Microsoft Knowledgebase says to delete the Calendar Folder using Exchange, but I don't have Exchange and can't find any way to delete the Calendar Folder, in order to recreate it
