Hi,

We run Exchange 2007 with Outlook 2007 as client. Outlook will crash no
matter which desktop user A log into when open user B's shared calendar, but
user A is able to open other people's shared calendar fine. This problem can
be repeated on different desktops. On same desktop, some user can open user
B's shared calendar, but Outlook crash for others. It's very weird. It's
seems something to do with the user's account, but cannot figure out what's
the problem with the user account. So far only user B’s calendar will cause
Outlook crush.

I got error 1000 in the event viewer:

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 12.0.6514.5000, stamp 4a89dc70,
faulting module outlook.exe, version 12.0.6514.5000, stamp 4a89dc70, debug?
0, fault address 0x00a02207.

Did anyone see this problem? Please help!

Thanks in advance!

Lisa

HI Lisa,

Did you found a solution for your problem?

I just get the same problem with two user. I use Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2007. Right on the shared calendar are ok.

- User A in Outlook can't open the shared calendar from user B
- User C in Outlook can't open the shared calendar from user D
- But A can open shared calendar from user C and D
- User C and D can open the shared calendar from User B

!!! User A in OWA can open the shared calendar from user B !!! same with user C

Thanks

EDIT: The problem stay on the Mailbox from User you try to open the shared calendar, her you can found some work arround

We have a similar problem if not the same thing. Our environment is Exchange 2010 Server with Outlook 2007 SP2. When one of my user opens a specific shared calendar it crashes her outlook. She has other shared calendars that she can go in and out of but not one specific calendar. I found if I run outlook.exe /cleanviews my user is able to open the calendar but if she closes it and tries to go back it will crash outlook again. So for now she is just leaving it open. I read somewhere that you could do a outlook.exe /resettodobar and that will take care of it. Waiting for my user to come in to try it.
