Outlook continues to run

Problem with outlook. When first launch it works properly
but when I try and exit the program it keeps running. In
order to close it I have to go into office and application
recovery and close it that way in order to go back into
outlook. Is any one else having this problem? What should
I do. I reinstalled the program several times and it still
isn't working right.

What version of Outlook are you using? Do you have any add-ins installed to integrate with other programs?

Some versions of Outlook seem to be more prone to this and the easiest solution is often to install a little system tray icon called "Knockout" that tells you when it is running with right-click options to shut it down. See http://sunflowerhead.com/software/knockout/

Outlook 2003 is what I'm using and it keeps running.
