Outlook Contacts

I was utilizing Outlook 2003 and backed up my Office "Outlook Data File and
now I am using Office XP Standard with Outlook 2002. I tried to import my
backed up 2003 (pst.) file to Office XP Outlook 2002 and it says it is NOT
COMPATIBLE?

Is there some type of converter?

Please help!

No. The only "converter" is Outlook. If you wanted to revert to an earlier
version you should have created a file in an earlier format while using
Outlook 2003. Exporting and importing will not allow you to do that, which
is one of the many reasons you never use export and import to transfer
Outlook data. There is nothing you can do now.

I have just realized that I have an HP iPaq with my contacts. If I connect my
iPaq to my computer will my contacts automatically convert to Office XP
Outlook contacts?

If you want to know if your IPAQ will synch with Outlook 2002, ask HP.

Your iPAQ should sync with Outlook 2002 using ActiveSync on a WIndows XP
system, but ActiveSync won't wotk with Vista. One of two things will happen
when you sync: either the contacts on the iPAQ will be added to Outlook
(Outlook must be configured already on the PC) or the Outlook contacts you
currently have will override the iPAQ. You can control this when you create
your partnership.
