Currently I do not have HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WAB\WAB4 with
a DWORD key as I wanted to clarify the following with you.
At the moment, I have HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\WAB\WAB4\WAB
FILE NAME in the registry. I think this is the Default Store location.
When I do enter the DWORD key, as above, what should I do with the WAB
FILE NAME key? Can I still leave OE as my default mail client. Later I
am planning to change the default mail client to Outlook. Currently I use
OE for my POP account as well as my ISP mail accounts.
Can you please let me know if I do turn on sharing that I will be able to
enter contacts both in OE and Outlook, this will be viewable both in OE
and also Outlook?
Thank you.

Outlook 2002 permits you to do that only with a reg hack. Later versions
do not even permit that.

Note, that for some versions you may have to hack a different key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WAB\WAB4

I am planning to import my current WAB file into Outlook, but then if I
do use OE Adress Book, I would like the address book to be update in
Outlook. Do you know how I enable sharing in OE so that I will be able to
amend/view my contacts not only in OE but in Outlook?
No version of Outlook has ever used the WAB, nor can the WAB be shared
with Outlook.
Outlook 2000 in IMO mode did allow Outlook to share its Contacts Folder
with the WAB, but never the converse.
To view your WAB contacts in Outlook, you must import them from Outlook
Express into Outlook.

I have all my contacts listed under Address Book Ver 6.0 which is a
.wab file format. If I was to put all the contacts under "Shared
Contacts" in Address Book, would this allow me to view these contacts
in Outlook 2002? I want to be able to view and amend the contacts under
Address Book as well as in Outlook 2002.
I hope that you can assist me.
Thank you.
