Outlook Contacts on Laptop

Hi all

Out Outlook contacts are stored on a server, so that I can go to any
computer, set up my Outlook, and have access to my Contacts, InBox, Journal
Entries, Calendar, etc..

We also have staff that have Outlook set up on laptop computers for home
use. They connect to the network using these laptops, and the laptops have
the same version of Outllook as the office computers (XP).

However, in two cases (that I know of), the users have indicated that they
are having problems viewing contacts from their laptops.

1. One user says no contacts are visible.
2. The other user says that his main contact folder is visible, but none
of his subfolders are.

Any one out there have any thoughts on this? I am thinking the first user
may be storing his contacts in a personal folder, (in which case it would
not be visible) but the second user is most likely storing his on the server
like the rest of us.

How are you sharing the information store? Are you using Exchange Server?
 
Yes, but I am not sure what version - but I do know that it is not the most
recent.

Then it may be an issue with the Exchange mailbox. Have you created a new
profile for these users? If that doesn't work, you may need to post in an
Exchange group.
