Hi,
My name is Amy Vargo. Thank you for using the Microsoft Access Newsgroups.
You can import your Contacts from Outlook into Access. To do so, open your
Access database. Go to File, Get External DAta, Import or Link Tables. In
the Files of Type box, select Exchange or Outlook. This will start the
wizard. Continue through the wizard, selecting your Contacts folder to
import the data from.
A mail merge allows you to put data from your Access database into a Word
document. There is also a wizard for doing so. In Access, select your
table or query name and then go to Tools, Office Links on the menu bar.
Select the "Merge it with Microsoft Word" option to launch the wizard. If
you have an existing Word document created, select the option "Link your
data to an existing Microsoft Word document". If you need to create a new
document and link the data to it, choose the "Create a new document and
then link the data to it" option. Click OK and then continue through the
wizard.
I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.
Regards,
Amy Vargo
