Outlook contacts 2003 vs. 2007

I just upgraded from 2003 to 2007. Some of my contacts still have the
"notes" section in the body of the open contact and some don't. Those that
don't instead have a "no card image" section. Other than that, everything
else about the contact looks the same. The ribbon and all the commands are
identical.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Advise is appreciated!

Upgrade installations are never recommended with Outlook. You should only
use clean installations. Explain in detail what you did and how you migrated
your data.

I installed Office Standard 2007. I don't know that I did anything to
migrate the data. It was just all there with the new and improved features.
Albeit some contacts no longer had the space for adding notes in the lower
right quadrant of the contact window. I haven't been able to determine a
rhyme or reason as to why some still have the notes feature and some don't.

If you simply did an in place upgrade, the very first thing you just do is
create a brand new Outlook profile from scratch and then connect it to your
previous Outlook data file.
Did you back up your data before you attempted this upgrade?

Russ,
Thank you! We created a new Outlook profile and that seems to have fixed the
problem.
