Outlook Contact Button

When I am in outlook - Calendar and I switch to the Contacts button, I do not
see any contacts. If I switch to tasks I see all the functions of the task
option. If i were to switch back to contacts from the task I do not see any
functions from the contacts option.

Can someone help
 
Provide at least some information. What Outlook version? What DO you see
when select Contacts? How many Contacts have you entered?
 
I am using outlook 2007. When I select contacts I see view options that
pertain to the mail options. There is a slew of contacts entered. About 500
contacts. Now I am connecting to an exchange server at work. I ran a test
and found that when I use a different account I can see the contacts. But
when I use the specific account in question I get the aforementioned error.

Try starting Outlook once with the /resetfolders command line switch. This
switch (and a few other really helpful ones) are discussed here:
