Hi,

My hotmail account is currently configured to have a non-hotmail return
address. This works fine through the Web-based hotmail.

I've installed the Outlook Connector to get to my hotmail account.
Unfortunately, the return address for email I sent via Outlook have my
hotmail adddress, not my non-hotmail return address. How do I configure
Outlook Connector to use a custom return address for new email sent from
Outlook?

Thanks,
John

If you click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next, select the Hotmail account, click
Change, is there a More Settings button? If so, click it. What do you see?

When I go to the "Change..." dialog for my hotmail account in Outlook 2007,
I see three fields, "E-mail address", "Password", and "Name." I see no "More
Settings" button. Are you looking at a different version by any chance?

Since I don't use the Outlook Connector (I can access my Hotmail account
without it), that's why I was asking if you have the "More Setttings"
button. My Hotmail account has it.

Nevertheless, it was bad advice in the first place. I can change the
sending address on my hotmail account right on the first page of the "E-mail
Accounts" dialogue. As long as my login credentials are my Hotmail username
and password, I can set the "E-mail Address" field to whatever I want.
