Good Day,

I am trying to set up my Outlook 2003 to handle both my Hotmail Subscriber
Accounts as well as my non-subscriber accounts, is this possible?

Thanks,

Brook

How do I do this? Because when I try to set up my non-subscriber accounts and
try to open my folders in Outlook, I receive a message saying that the
account has to be a subscriber account? Any suggestions?

Brook

Hi Brook,
sorry, but i have to ask you, what do you mean with non-subcriber account?
I thought that you meant a f.e. hotmail and a gmx account!

What I mean by Subscriber & non-subscriber are that Subscriber Accounts are
pay accounts and Non-Subscriber Accounts are the free hotmail accounts that
anyone can set up at no charge.

Brook

So it doesnt matter if you pay for it or not
The configuration is always the same.
Have you ever create an account in OUtlook?

Ok,

This is what I did, I setup an account (e-mail address removed) and then set it up
in unsing the Outlook Connector for MSN, restarted Outlook then when I click
the folder for my test account this is the exact message I am getting:

MSN Mail: (e-mail address removed)
Outlook Connector for MSN is available only to MSN Subsribers. Do you want
to subscribe now?

Subscribing means you pay for the account, when I just want a free hotmail
account.

Brook

What do you mean hotmail is not free? I have 3 hotmail accounts... One that
is a subscriber account b/c of my dsl, and two other free accounts that I
just went out and set up.

Brook

The information has been posted for weeks. Only paid accounts can be used
with Outlook connector.

I understand this Russ.... but I have been told that I can associate my free
accounts with my paid accounts and trying to find out how to do that...Why
does it matter if it has been posted for weeks.. this is a forum..

Sounds like something you'd have to ask MSN, then. We'd have no way of
knowing that.

Ah so i get it now.
Hotmail is not free! You have to pay for creating a new account.
But please read this here to get more information about it!
