When I start outlook, I am getting the message:
Outlook connector for domino can't be started. Verify that the lotus notes
client is installed and properly configured, log off and log on to your
computer or domain and then start outlook connector for domino again.

After that a second message is appearing:
The profile is not complete because your notes.ini file has'nt been
personalized for your email account. Start your lotus notes client and
provide your domino servername and ID-file password when prompted by the
client configuration wizard and then try again.

I am using Outlook 2003 SP2 and Lotus Notes R6.5.

I tried several things: 1)re-installion of outlook, 2) re-installation of
the lotus notes client 3) re-installation of the outlook connector for
domino, but none of the things solves the problem.

Can someone help me, please?

I don't have a solution yet but this happens because you (and I) are missing
a dll file called LoadNotesDLL. I believe that it has something to do with
the version of Lotus Notes that we are running or the way that our Notes
system administrators installed the Lotus Notes client.

If I find a solution I will try to find this thread again and post the
solution.

Ivan (& Jakob,)

We are having problems using the "Outlook 2003/2002 Add-in: Notes Connector"
(download file olconn2.exe on Microsoft's download site.) We have been using
this successfully...with a few minor "annoyances," however, recently things
went haywire. I spent time yesterday and found this - it seems to be
associated with Office SP2...if the connector was already loaded and the
upgrade was done, things worked but started getting duplication problems,
etc...if SP2 was loaded prior to the connector load and setup, we could not
even get it fuctioning at all...the .nst file would create but could not be
read properly after that (file not available error.)

I took a workstation we were having the problem with, uninstalled office,
reloaded with Office SP1 and any updates prior to SP2, everything works fine.

There seems to be a problem with the current available connector
(olconn2.exe dated 4/12/2004 and Office 2003 SP2. There doesn't seem to be a
newer connector available and I do not know yet if there are any plans to fix
this issue either with a fix to Office SP2 or a new connector.

If anybody knows anything, please respond.

Thanks
