PLEASE HELP!

I've been using Outlook as my primary e-mail program for many years. MindSpring (now EarthLink) is my ISP. I've used a dial-up connection to download my mail off of the EarthLink server, which I import into Outlook 2000.

I just installed a Wireless Notebook Adapter card to access LAN Hotspots and access the Internet. I can obtain my e-mail on the Internet by using EarthLink WebMail, but I want to obtain my e-mail using Outlook. I've tried to reconfigure the e-mail settings in Outlook from Dial-Up to LAN, but it does not work.

Any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate some technical advice to configure Outlook to work properly on remote LANs.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

David

set the connection to use IE or any available when you configure your
accounts... and as long as the pop/SMTP information is correct it should
work to receive mail... you may run into problems sending mail when
connected using a non-EarthLink connection though - I can't remember how
EarthLink handles it.

if it doesn't work are you getting any error messages?
