Outlook closes when I minimize the program.

Are there internal settings in Outlook that could be causing this?

When I mimimize Outlook or click on the "show desktop" icon (Which minimizes
all programs), Outlook doesn't minimize.

Instead it closes complete.

I am experiencing the very same difficulty with Outlook XP, and starting
yesterday the program continually displays a pop-up saying an "internal Error
has occured and the program must close, want to send an error report?"

Are there internal setting in Outlook 2003 SP1 that is causing this? Is
there a way I can clear up these problems?

Outlook 2003, I'll bet. It's not closing, it's minimizing to the system
tray. Click the Outlook icon in the system tray and uncheck the "Hide when
Minimized" option.
