Hello! I'm desperated!!

I've deploying a SQL Server instance called MSSMLBIZ on my server (Small
Business Server R2) and I've created a BCM database with Admin Tool. OK.
I've shared for some users on my network domain. OK.
But when I try to connect from any of these users from their Outlook with
Create or Select a Database option I can´t connect never.
Curiously, if I open Sql Server Management Studio from any of the PC clients
I can see and work with BCM database. But I can't do it from Outlook.

Hi Jorge,

BCM uses it's own sql port to talk with the server. This port is not opened
by default, you might have to make sure the port is opened on your client
boxes firewalls, and also on the server box. The port number is 5356. If
the port is in firewall exceptions list, make sure it's not just limited to
the subnet group.

try enter in the wizard
MashineName\MSSMLBIZ, 1433 if you installed the instance with default 1433
port.
check if the installed instance has any port assigned
try MashineName\MSSMLBIS, 5356
try MAshineName, 1433....

Hi Jerry,

I've made telnet on port 5356 and it works fine, so it's opened.
