does anyone have this problem?
i just tried the new Outlook beta and when i open my old .pst file, any
contacts under subfolders under the contact cannot be shown. i can't find a
way to access those contacts.
anyone has the same problem? any solutions? is this a bug?
running under the old version of outlook, the contact is like a folder
itself and the sube folders are easily shown.

You are in Mail view and not a Folder view that are you accustomed to.

Hit Ctrl-6 to be in folder view (same as in 2003) and hit Ctrl-3 to be in
Contact view.

Are you by any chance skipping Outlook 2003? The behavior you are describing
seems to be from Outlook 2000.

Anyway, look at the bottom left corner of Outlook 2007 and you'll see Mail,
Calendar, Contacts etc. There is an icon with the folder on it, and that
will bring you into Folder view that behaves most like what you are used to.
I listed above some keyboard shortcuts.
