Hi all,

I cannot logon to Exgange2007 server using the Outlook 2007 client running
on Vista Business. Outlook is unable to resolve name. I have no problem to
logon with the same client version running on XP. So I believe there is some
authentication issue between Exchange Server and Vista. Any suggestion how to
resolve it?

Thanks in advance,
Vladimir

Please try the Outlook and or Exchange groups - this group is for
Frontpage - a web design tool.

Andrew,
I have no problem to logon via OWA. But not with Outlook.

I think something needs to be changed in Vista network security.
For exampe. I had connection issue with Samba. To resolve it i changed LAN
manager authentication to: "use NTLMv2 session if negotiated".

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Vadimir

The following message pops up when I'm checking the name:
"The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online
or connected to complete this action."

You will get answers if you ask in a group or forum that deals with
Outlook and/or Exchange Server. The FrontPage groups are for web
design, and FrontPage - nothing to do with Outlook.

Older versions of Outlook are not compatible with Vista.
