I am trying to configure my client computer with outlook
2002 to the SBServer, and it resolves my name and
password, but when it gets to the point where it needs to
configure my outlook, it gives an error message that
Exchange is not available or it is down for maintenance,
can anyone help with this problem? I acn connect to the
server for everything else including the internet
Thank you

What type of authentication do you have set for Outlook? Try using none and
see if that works.

My ISP is blocking certain ports and one of the ports is
blocking my Exchange Server from my office. I called my
ISP and they can't tell me when they will unblock it.
The blocking is to protect the worm from their server. I
hope this helps, I'm not very technical but I have the
same problem.

This is a valuable wakeup call - those ports should never have been open
from the Internet in the first place. Look into implementing VPN, or use
OWA. Don't turn your firewall into a sieve, no matter what.

Are you trying this from the Internal network?

Yes, I am working from the internal network, all the
client computers are having this issue, this is a new
installation.
