Outlook Cannot find default file folder

I have outlook 2000 installed locally on my laptop. For some reason, even
though it was installed locally, the default email folders seem to be on a
network drive.

The network drive is not accessible any longer (company changed server and
renamed). As a result Outlook will not open normally.

I cannot find a way to redirect outlook to look somewhere else for the file.

I have tried amending the registry and completely deleting and reinstalling
the product without success.

Does anyone know if it is possible to redirect outlook to search for the
default folders in a different location.?

Do you have Outlook installed in Internet Mail Only mode or
Corporate/Workgroup mode? Help>About will tell you.

Did you also delete the registry entry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles|Microsoft Outlook Internet Settings?
