Outlook calendar list to show past as well as present, future

Currently, list of months on the right side starts with the current month,
and goes into the future. I would like an option so I could either:

- Specify how many past months to display,

or else,

- Month list has (about) equal amounts of both past and future months.

Most paper organizer show not just current and future month, but also past
months. I believe MS Outlook should allow the same.

Do you have the little arrows to move back and forth? Because it's a
navigation calendar, it defaults to showing current and future months - how
many calendars display is controlled by window size and the position of the
inside edge.

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I do have the little arrows. Prefer to click on the month and scroll
up and down.
I meant to have MS Outlook to keep my favorite setting (2 months past, or
else about same months past and future) as a default.
This is a need because I keep jumping back and forth between Calendar,
Inbox, Contacts, etc. Everytime I come back, it resets to current and future
months. I feel it would have been more useful to keep my settings, at least
during my current session.

Have you tried opening the calendar in a separate window? It will retain
your selections until you close the window.
