In Outlook 2003 the Outlook Calendar displays time between 3am and 11pm
eventhough the working hours are set from 9am to 5pm. Can the view be
adjusted so that the calendar only displays the time set for working hours?

Thanks,
Michelle

Hi,
Outlook
Tools
Preferences tap
Calendar Options
Under Calendar Work Week set Work Days and Start \ End time of the Day.
Regards,
Dave.

Hi Dave

Your suggestion only changes the duration displayed for the work day.
HOwever, 3am - 11pm is still in view. How do you change the overall view to
only display the period defined by the work day duration.

Michelle

Hi Michelle,
You can not change the overall view to display only the period
defined as Working Hours. The Outlook Calendar displays the hours of the
entire day.( This leaves you the option to schedule Appointments outside this
limit.)
The defined Start and End Time of the Workday is shaded in a different color.
If you set the Time Scale to 30 min. this will fill the screen.
See attached link.

Hi Dave and Michelle,

I am having the same issue and changing the time scale to 30 mins didn't
change it. I can't understand it because I had it setup perfectly on another
computer (same version of Outlook I think) but I just can't get this one to
cooperate.

If anyone knows the answer, please do share.

I needed to set my time scale to 15 mins so that it fitted the screen from 9-5 - I suppose it must depend a lot on each particular screen size.
