Outlook Beta Woes

I've seen that the import/export issue has been addressed, but I'm now in a
bit of a quandry thanks to my beta expiring last night.

So I've been running the Office 2007 beta, which expired last night. Unable
to afford Office software (and quite frankly wanting to give Windows Mail a
whirl ANYway...) it's now time to move my e-mail over.

Sadly, Windows Mail won't let me import from Outlook 07 (gives me a MAPI
error) even though Outlook 2007 is still installed.

Furthermore, my Outlook beta has expired and now is in "limited
functionality mode," which disables import/export so I can't revert to
Outlook Express or Windows Mail or whatever.

Where does one go from here? Microsoft? Where you at?

When, if ever, is it ok to *bump* inside a newsgroup like it is in a forum?

No, bumping is not considered proper in a newsgroup.
If you get no responses, it means no one who read your post
has the solution to your question. You might try posting your
question in one of the Outlook newsgroups.
