Hello,
On an existing SBS 2003 (Exchange, DC) server I have installed MS Outlook
2007 Beta 2, as well as Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007. The
installations went without any problems, and the server was rebooted.
Outlook was not configured for any email accounts, just personal folders.
When I launch Outlook, the following happens:
1) Cannot complete the selected action because an unknown external error
occurred.
2) Business Contact Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close.
The second error asks to send a report. I briefly examined the error event,
and it contains this:
EventType bcm, P1 addin, P2 mapiexception, P3 3.0.5218.10, P4
12.0.4017.1006, P5 outlookmapisessionlogoncomplete, P6 allocatebuffer, P7
0e71ff91, P8 NIL, P9 NIL, P10 NIL.
Outlook keeps running after I click away the above errors. Also, I can run
Outlook without any errors if I remove the BCM data file. However, As soon as
I try to do anything BCM-related in Outlook, the same sequence of errors
happens.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
