If I select to use the Outlook bar I can see the ICON's
for the selected folder. But I can't see any of the e-
mails in that folder. In other words in previous versions
of outlook I would click on the calendar icon and to the
right of the bar my calender would display.

All I can see is the Outlook bar Icon and if I click on my
inbox the the result bar shows me how many items are in
that folder but the list of e-mals wont display.

How can I correct this? Is there a patch?

Your VIEWS are messed up. Open Outlook and try adjusting
the views. This can be tricky if your not seeing the VIEW
button. Also adjust how you want outlook to start. With
Outlook Today or your inbox. I assume you have a .pst. If
this is lost or corrupt you will get an error message.

Changing the views doesn't help... I tried that. It is
almost as if I can't change the size of the Outlook Bar
and therefore it takes up the whole screen. I had the
option to motify the size of the toolbar in my previous PC
and they both have Outlook 2000.

Try resetting your Outlook Bar -- all the default shortcuts will be
recreated. Start Outlook once with the /ResetOutlookBar switch. If you
need help using Outlook command line switches, look here:
