Any suggestions how to set up back up schedule of e-mails/adress books etc
saved in e.g. external hard disc? I assume that the arcive function does not
cover my needs?

I take it the you are not on an Exchange server as this would mean your
mailbox would be being backed on the server. There are various media you can
use for backup purposees zip drives, CD-RW. Any device you use either have
it in another location or in fire proof safe if possible. There are also
external hard-drives such as the Iomega drive which is wha I use to back up
my hard-drive.

Can outlook 2003 be installed on an external hard drive? I want to do this
because my computer's storage capacity is not sufficient to store all of the
pdf's and other lengthy documents and photos that I want to store in outlook
as attachments in outlook-accessible form so that I can use outlook's search
and categorization features with the files and attachments and readily email
an attachment (perhaps after modifying it) when I need to do so. In other
words, I want to be able to go to outlook and have all of my emails and
attachments in front of me in my pre-determined files and sub-files, readily
accessible, as if my main computer (which is 4 years old) had much more
storage capacity thatn it actually does have.

I have an IOMEGA 250-gig external hard drive. When I tried to install
outlook 2003 from the office program in the external hard drive, I could not
do so. Somehow I did, however, manage to end up with just outlook in my main
computer, with the rest of microsoft office uninstalled! (Not a big deal--I
just re-installed microsoft office.)

Thank you for any assistance that you can give.

Hi. I just sent in a question, but am not quite sure whether it went
through, since passport asked me for more info after I replied. Thus, this
is merely a test.
