The outlook auto archive isn't functioning for us in Outlook 2007. We seem
to have two issues based upon our reading.

1) The auto archive goes by modified date not received date
2) There is not easy message rule to move msgs by "over x days old" for
example

Anyone have an easy method to take all messages in every pst
folder/subfolder and move them to an archive based on the criteria that the
messages are 85 days or older?

As far as I know, Outlook isn't flexible enough here for your
requirements. You can use "Easy2Sync for Outlook". The program also
has a "move" mode and can be configured to ignore all objects younger
than x days. You can also configure is you want to calculate the age
by creation or modification date.

You can get the software here:

You can see a screenshot of the age filter here:

But the image is not up-to-date. There are more options by now.

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work w/ imap mail. I want to auto archive
from my imap folders. Sorry I left out that detail. This solution only
works w/ pst and exchange.
