Outlook Attachtment Problem: Thanks.

Hi, could anybody please give me some advice:
I use Windows XP Outlook and when I send email attachments to someone who
has a lower version of Windows the attachments come through damaged. What
can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance.
 
hey,
well i may have a clue as to what to do with the
attachments. when you ready to attach a file to the
email, and you browse, on the dialogue box, at the bottom,
there should be a drop down menu for "file type" and you
should be able to choose which version you want.

another suggestion could be to change the format of the
email from rich, to plain. the format menu is in the menu
bar in the window of the message you are sending.
