on email? which version of outlook? if outlook 2003, install the latest
updates. Older versions support attachment names only on certain message
format types.

version 2000.
If I set up Outlook to display only plain text, will that then print all the
fields that i want in the header?

Sometimes it prints the 'tracking' field, so why it cannot print the
'attachments' field is a bit frustrating.

thanks for your prompt reply.

Changing the message to Plain Text format should allow you to see the
attachment name in the printout.
