I have downloaded all the suggested security patches after
the blasterworm virus and I am now not able to download
any attachments on emails sent to me. It says oe
indicates that it would be dangerous to open file. How
can I stop this?

What type of attachments (I bet you can download some...)

Solution is to have trusted senders either Zip the attachments
or rename them to use some known pattern like ._exe_

Zip is a great solution even if the file doesn't compress well,
as the zip/unzip process proves the INTEGRITY of the file
(hasn't been altered since it left the origin.)

Such files are still dangerous but not accidentally so as YOU
must decide to convert them AND decide to then access them.

this is not a W2K security question - it's an OE one.
This has been asked and replied to THOUSANDS of times (last count on
Google - 120,000 hits)
Go to Tools-Options-Security and review the settings.
