Can someone help me with my outlook attached images as whenever I click on attached images or try opening them, a Netscape window opens with home page and does not show image, how can I set MS Paint or MS Word as my default viewer?

Please help.

To reassign the GIF, JPEG and other image filetypes associations to
another application, you have some choices.
1. Use another application's Preferences/Options/Settings to 'grab' the
file associations (back) to itself
2. Install another application that will assign itself to those
filetypes.
3. Use the Windows Explorer; Go to Tools menu - Options - File Types.
Find the entries for GIF, JPG, etc,. and change them to the programs you
prefer.
4. Mess around with the Registry. (not recommended)

I do NOT recommend assigning image filetype associations to MSWord.
MSOffice apps are rather overkill(**) for simply displaying an image.
(**)(Word is slow to load, takes a load of resources, is cluttered with
icons, toolbars, etc., that have nothing to do with just viewing an
image... they are for word processing, etc. It's pretty much the wrong
tool for the job in most cases.)

I do recommend a dedicated image viewing application like IrFanView or
ACDSee Classic. Fast, flexible, free!
