I have just installed a large number of updates. Now, using Outlook 2002 SP3
I get the following security alert:

"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook.
Do you want to allow this?"

I get the alert EVERY TIME I SEND AN EMAIL!!!!

Outlook is treating itself like a possible virus!

Someone please tell how to stop this nonsense. I've already been the the
KB. No answer there.

TIA

No it's not. It's complaining about some add-in you have, like Adobe
Acrobat's PDF Maker add-in. Your options for the Outlook Objecft Model
Guard can be found here: http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?ID=52

Hmm. Who ever updates that site should add Bullguard Spamfilter to the list,
because that's what I'm using (I don't have Adobe PDFMaker), and disabling it
stopped the warnings.

There is probably not an update from Bullguard correcting this since I just,
two days ago, installed the latest version.

Thank you for your reply.

You might want to drop a note to webmaster at slipstick.com about that.

That's a pretty pitiful spam tool, I have to say, if it can't deal with an Outlook security issue that's been around for years.
